1. Acceptance of Terms
By adding IRRanks to your Discord server, linking your iRacing account, or otherwise using its features, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please remove the bot from your server and stop using it.
2. Description of Service
IRRanks is a Discord bot and companion website that integrates with the iRacing API to help endurance racing teams manage iRating/Safety Rating tracking, driver availability, stint planning, fuel and strategy numbers, and race-day coordination. Features include automatic nickname updates, leaderboards, monthly reports, split win announcements, per-race sign-up and availability tracking, stint planning, per-car Discord threads, and (for teams using the desktop companion app) live race tracking.
3. Access & Approval
IRRanks is currently invite-only. Adding the bot to a Discord server that hasn't been approved in advance will result in the bot automatically leaving that server. To get approved, reach out via the IRRanks Discord server. We reserve the right to approve, decline, or revoke access for any server at our discretion.
4. User Responsibilities
By using IRRanks, you agree to:
- Only link iRacing accounts that you own or have permission to use
- Not attempt to abuse, exploit, or disrupt the bot, its website, or the underlying service
- Comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
- Comply with iRacing's Terms of Service
5. Data Usage
IRRanks stores Discord and iRacing identifiers, stats, race sign-up/availability data, stint and strategy data, and (optionally) live telemetry to provide its services. This data is used solely for bot functionality and is not sold or shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown of what's collected and why.
6. Availability
IRRanks is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime or availability. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues at any time, including during a live race.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
IRRanks calculates fuel, stint, pit stop, and strategy numbers based on the data you and your team provide, and pulls stats from iRacing's own API - it does not guarantee the accuracy of this data or of any number, plan, or alert it produces. You are responsible for verifying strategy numbers yourself before relying on them in a race.
IRRanks is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any race outcome, lost data, financial loss, or other damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
8. Age Requirement
You must meet Discord's own minimum age requirement (13, or higher where required by the law of your country) to use Discord, and therefore to use IRRanks.
9. Intellectual Property
The IRRanks name, logo, and website design belong to the operator. Data you or your team enters into IRRanks - car names, stint plans, availability, and similar - remains yours; IRRanks only uses it to provide the service back to you and your team.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to IRRanks for any server or user that violates these terms or misuses the service, at our discretion and without prior notice.
11. Governing Law
IRRanks is used by teams internationally, and nothing here limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your own country. Where a governing law needs to be picked, these terms are governed by the laws of Denmark.
12. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated as IRRanks' features change. Continued use of IRRanks after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Significant changes will be noted with an updated date above.
13. Contact
